About
John Lynch
John Lynch, is a businessman, owned and co-owned several
companies. In 1963, he began his new life journey in Christ. John was intent
on God's kingdom and righteousness. He became a popular speaker in churches and
conferences. John consistantly introduced people to Christ which became his
passion. He became convinced that God's desire and plan was for Christ's Church
to be awakened in Christ's power and life as it was in the book of Acts.
Desiring more time to make Christ and His abundant life known, John sold
his company. John and his wife, Sharon, joined the staff of Campus Crusade for
Christ, Intl. where they served for ten years. John served in various positions
including NE Regional Director and U.S. National Director of the Lay Ministry.
His responsibilities also included giving direction to the U.S. ministries of:
Here's Life America, Military, National Day of Prayer, and Prisons.
In
1980, with the blessing and counsel of Dr. Bill Bright, Founder and President of
Campus Crusade for Christ Intl. and others, John began the dynamic ministry now
known as Victorious Christian Living International, (VCL). This is a worldwide,
biblical, discipleship traing ministry with an emphasis on living in the Spirit
and abiding in Christ.
John resigned in 1995, as VCLI President and
turned his attention to biblical consulting, mentoring and lecturing in the
corporate world with emphasis on multiplying discipleship.
In the
mid-1990's, John became involved in a timber-related business with 3 other
partners, involving the use of investor capital. Unknown to John, the other
officers misappropriated some of the funds for unauthorized investments, and
lost the money. As a fiduciary, John was charged along with those who were
directly involved. He eventually entered into a plea bargain and served over 4
years in the Arizona Dept. of Corrections, until his release in Jan.
2002.
God led John to introduce many to Christ during his incarceration.
He had a ministry of equipping and mentoring which led to the formation of a
multiplying church life in 4 prisons. Many of the released disciples are
serving Christ with some preparing for or have entered into full-time
ministry.
John formed Freedom Foundation Fellowship (FFF) in 2004. The
mission is to assist local churches in experiencing Christ as life and
developing movements of multiplying discipleship. FFF's prison ministry
continues to multiply supernaturally under the direction of Steve
Schneider.
John and Sharon have celebrated 49 years of marriage and are
blessed with 5 children and 6 grandchildren. They have resided in Scottsdale, AZ
for thirty years.
